The 11th Southeast Asian Western Pacific Regional Meeting of Pharmacologists

- We regret that we have to cancel the 11th SEAWP-RMP originally scheduled for 22nd to 24th, March 2011 in Yokohama.
We consider that promotion of pharmacology is the primary goal of every society belonging to SEAWP-RFP, and that face-to-face communication is an indispensable component of science.
Therefore, despite the terrible earthquake that struck northeast Japan on 11th of March, we were seeking the possibility to hold the meeting, where pharmacologists in the SEAWP region gather to exchange their results and ideas. However, there has been too little time to recover sufficiently to welcome our colleagues from abroad.
We are sorry for the colleagues who were looking forward to attending the meeting, and apologize for inconvenience that had incurred.
We will announce our decision on how we will handle the issues caused by this cancellation as soon as possible.
