 Dear Colleagues and Friends,

With your great cooperation, 8th International Symposium on Minimal Residual Cancer has successfully concluded all the programs and events.

We sincerely appreciate your kind cooperation, and we hope to have another opportunity to meet you all in the near future.

 Sincerely yours,

Masaki Mori, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.S.
Chairman of ISMRC 2011

We, the organizing committee of ISMRC 2011, would like to express our deepest condolence and sympathy to those who have lost their lives and are still suffering from the disaster caused by the earthquakes and tsunami that hit the north-eastern Japan on March 11.
We sincerely appreciate those kind and sympathetic messages from our colleagues overseas. Since the tragedy happened, board members of ISMRC 2011 have been discussing the situation, and have decided to hold the meeting as scheduled. Osaka where the meeting is held, is located on the west of Japan, and the city is not harmed or damaged by the quake or nuclear incident.
We believe that Japan have a strength to overcome this difficult situation, and re-build the nation.
We all are looking forward to seeing many of you in Osaka this September.
 Sincerely yours,

Masaki Mori
Chair of ISMRC 2011
