 Glover Garden is a place remembered in connection with Puccini’s opera "Madama Butterfly." It is located in the area where foreigners used to settle during Japan ’s isolationist policy.Nagasaki was the only place where was open to the world during that period. Glover’s mansion is the oldest western style wooden house in Japan which was built in 1865. The night view of Nagasaki Harbor from the garden is one of the three best-night-views in Japan that attract many tourists from all over the world. Additionally, the garden is blessed with full bloom of colorful seasonal flowers throughout the year.
This vintage point is a unique mixture of Japanese and western traditions. Please enjoy a little time travel to the 19th Century. |

Please join us to enjoy Japanese style summer festival with wearing yukata.
Yukata is a Japanese traditional outfit, which looks like kimono, but it is just for summer. Japanese food stalls are regularly seen at Japanese summer festivals and enjoy traditional food provided from them. This party will be held at Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture where the government office in Japanese Edo period is partially restored. There could be a chance to experience the atmosphere of a trial in Edo period. This party will be the best way to enjoy Japanese traditional summer night! |

Nagasaki was a busy thoroughfare between east and west since long time ago. It absorbed many different cultures and created the original one. This unique history in Nagasaki
made "Shippoku Dishes", which is a brilliant combination of Japanese, Chinese, and Western cuisines. Eating them on a round table on tatami floor is a traditional style. Each menu of the course dinner will be served on a large dish, and share the time and food with others! |

Any cancellation notice should be made and sent to the Secretariat in writing which includes the registrant's name and Registration ID.
Please send it to us by mail, fax or E-mail.
Refunding of the registration fee is governed by the following conditions, with all refunds to be made after the meeting:
